How it started
Three winters ago, in a New Mexico garage.
It started in 2023 with a mouse problem in our garage. Then the kitchen. Then behind the dishwasher at 2 a.m., scratching loud enough to wake the kids. We bought traps. We bought sprays. We paid an exterminator $240 to walk through the house with a clipboard and tell us we'd need a follow-up visit.
Every solution had a tradeoff. Poisons we couldn't use around the dog. Glue traps the kids found in the pantry and asked questions about. Aerosol sprays that smelled chemical for days. The whole industry seemed built around the assumption that pest control had to be something hidden, toxic, or expensive — and usually all three.
We started researching ultrasonic technology used in commercial buildings, warehouses, and overseas markets. The physics were straightforward: high-frequency sound disturbs the nervous system of common household pests, but humans and most pets can't hear it. So we sourced quality plug-in units, tested them in our own house for six months, and decided to sell them at a price that made sense for a regular family.
